Ladies of Luminary Luncheons and Special Events

Set aside the first Thursday of each month to join other ladies for wonderful fellowship while sharing a lunch. The group is trying out different restaurants within the local area each month and occasionally member’s homes. As opportunities arise, the ladies of luminary also plan group events such as going to the movies or attending a play. Information about upcoming plans and recent luncheons and events will be shared on this webpage each month. Dates, times and locations will also be posted on the Upcoming Events webpage.

The group met at the El Canterito in Harriman, TNB at 11:30 a.m. Several ladies met at the Luminary UMC parking lot at 10:45 a.m. and carpooled to the restaurant.

Event at Princess Theatre in Harriman on June 11, 2022

The Ladies of Luminary attended the afternoon performance (at 2 pm) of the Three Rivers Theater Group’s production of SOUTHERN FRIED NUPTIALS. Some members of the group also explored some of the interesting shops in downtown Harriman, TN and had lunch at the 6 Blessings Cafe & Boutique.

The Ladies of Luminary “Share a Meal” luncheon on June 2 was at the Hunter’s Cafe in Sweetwater. Nine ladies shared an excellent meal together. Afterwards we all had our dessert at the nearby Sweetwater Creamery.

Twenty-two Ladies of Luminary and guests met at the Driftwood Diner in Ten Mile, TN for a delicious lunch and fellowship.

Movie Night event February 22, 2022

Even though it was a rainy, dark night, over 20 ladies gathered at the Panera Bread restaurant for a meal before heading to the Cinemark Tinseltown in Oak Ridge to see the movie “Uncharted”. The camaraderie was wonderful and even though the reclining seats at the Cinemark are fantastic the movie was too exciting to fall asleep.

Ladies of Luminary – Paint Night Fundraiser for Ladies Day 2021

We had an amazing time at our August 26, 2021 Paint Night.  Kristy Hammons was our instructor and she did an amazing job keeping us all in the lines!!!!  Thanks to all who came out and supported this fundraising event to support our Ladies Day event that will happen on November 13, 2021 we truly appreciate each and every one of you!
